Job summary

AirQ in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Procurement Executive to coordinate day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of materials, equipment, and services. You will manage purchase requests, supplier communications, purchase orders, delivery follow-up, and procurement documentation.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, ERP experience (Odoo), and the ability to analyze costs, manage supplier performance, and ensure compliance with budget and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and several years in procurement.
• 5–7 years of procurement/supply chain experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience with ERP (Odoo) systems.
• Lean manufacturing/JIT knowledge is an advantage.
• Professional certification (CIPS, CPSM, APICS/CPIM) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify procurement needs and develop sourcing strategies.
• Prepare RFQs, RFPs, RFIs and evaluate supplier proposals.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
• Manage end-to-end purchase order process from requisition to delivery.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and monitor KPI/SLA compliance.
• Ensure records, contracts and supplier data in ERP (Odoo).
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and spend summaries.
• Coordinate with finance, operations and R&D to align needs.
• Resolve supply issues and delivery delays.
