Job summary

alfanar is seeking a Materials Planner to ensure timely availability of materials for production. The role involves reviewing demand, coordinating with procurement, and maintaining accurate planning data to support efficient manufacturing.

Candidates should have 2–4 years in materials planning or related fields, with a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and strong analytical and collaborative skills for cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–4 years experience in materials planning or supply chain.
• Strong data analysis and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review demand, forecast, and production schedules to plan material needs.
• Prepare and issue material requisitions to procurement on time.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain accuracy.
• Coordinate with procurement, production planning, sales, logistics and quality teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Track KPIs on availability, accuracy, and fulfillment; report deviations.
• Identify risks such as delays or shortages and propose mitigations.
