Job summary

alfanar Precast in Dubai is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality targets. You will coordinate Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Quality teams to optimize output and efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, process improvement mindset, and a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced precast/construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities in line with approved production plans and schedules.
• Allocate work, priorities, manpower, and equipment across production activities.
• Monitor production progress, output, productivity, and resource utilization.
• Address production delays, bottlenecks, and operational issues to maintain workflow continuity.
• Ensure production targets are achieved within required timelines and operational requirements.
• Review production processes and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Support initiatives to reduce waste, rework, downtime, and operational losses.
• Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions for execution-related issues.
• Promote continuous improvement across production activities.
• Manage and supervise the daily activities of the production team.
• Monitor employee performance, productivity, and completion of assigned work.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to production employees.
• Identify training and development needs within the section.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Quality teams regarding production requirements.
• Follow up on material availability, equipment readiness, drawings, and production dependencies.
• Ensure production activities are aligned with project or delivery priorities.
• Participate in production and operational review meetings.
• Escalate major production, material, equipment, or resource issues when required.
• Maintain accurate production records and status updates.
• Report production progress, output, delays, resource constraints, and operational issues.
• Monitor key production performance indicators and provide regular updates to management.

Job Purpose

Manage daily production activities to ensure manufacturing plans are executed efficiently and in accordance with approved schedules, production targets, cost requirements, and operational procedures. Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and production priorities to achieve required output and delivery performance.

Functional Responsibilities

Production Operations

• Manage daily production activities in line with approved production plans and schedules.
• Allocate work, priorities, manpower, and equipment across production activities.
