Job summary

Amzone International is a UAE-based firm in Sharjah seeking a Logistics Officer to coordinate daily logistics, transportation, shipments and documentation. You will work with suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouse teams and internal departments to ensure timely material movement.

The role requires 2–5 years in logistics, UAE/GCC experience preferred, and knowledge of import/export procedures. A relevant degree and ERP/MS Office proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in logistics or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant logistics/warehouse experience.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred, in industrial, engineering, trading, construction or Oil & Gas environments.
• Logistics/Supply Chain certification is an advantage.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage where operationally required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics, transportation, dispatch and delivery activities, including scheduling and vehicle utilization.
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods, materials, equipment and documents.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, shortages and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, warehouse teams and internal departments for smooth material movement.
• Maintain accurate delivery notes, shipment documents, gate passes, vehicle records and inventory movement reports.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams for material receipt, dispatch, loading/unloading and inventory movement.
• Support import/export logistics, customs clearance and related documentation in coordination with freight forwarders and customs agents.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, customs regulations and logistics procedures.
• Monitor transportation/logistics costs and support cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare logistics reports, delivery status updates and operational summaries for management.
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely updates on pending, in-transit and completed shipments/deliveries.
