Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a proactive Logistics Officer in Dubai to coordinate shipments, documentation, and day-to-day logistics operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will track cargo, update ERP and tracking systems, liaise with suppliers and internal teams, and support customs clearance and inventory movements to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, or supply chain operations.
• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office, ERP, and logistics software skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipments, deliveries, collections, and transport schedules.
• Monitor cargo movement from dispatch through final delivery with updates.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and records.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
• Support customs clearance and import/export documentation.
• Maintain logistics records and generate reports on shipments and operations.
• Identify delays and issues and coordinate solutions with warehouses.
• Work with warehouse teams to support inventory movement and stock coordination.
• Update ERP, TMS, and logistics tracking systems accurately.
• Seek opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and reduce delays.

We're looking for a proactive and organized Logistics Officer to coordinate shipments, deliveries, documentation, and day-to-day logistics activities. If you have strong coordination skills and enjoy working in a fast-moving operational environment, this could be your next career opportunity!

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate daily shipments, deliveries, collections, and transportation schedules.
• Monitor cargo movement from dispatch through final delivery and provide timely status updates.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, delivery notes, invoices, packing lists, and logistics records.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, transport providers, warehouses, and internal teams.
• Support customs clearance and ensure required import/export documentation is complete.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and prepare shipment, delivery, and operational reports.
• Track delays, damaged shipments, shortages, and other logistics issues and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• Work closely with warehouse teams to support inventory movement, receiving, dispatch, and stock coordination.
• Update ERP, transport management, and logistics tracking systems accurately.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, reduce delays, and streamline logistics processes.
• UAE/GCC logistics experience is an advantage.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 2-4+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, or supply chain operations preferred.
• Good understanding of freight, warehousing, delivery coordination, and import/export procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, ERP, or logistics management systems.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
