Job summary

Gig Gulf in the United Arab Emirates seeks a senior commercial leader to drive SME and Retail business through key broker relationships. You will own new business production, renewals, portfolio performance and profitable growth, collaborating with Underwriting, Claims and Operations to translate broker needs into viable solutions.

You will lead the Business Development and Validation teams, shape commercial strategy, and ensure an excellent broker and client experience.

Qualifications

Proven track record in insurance sales and broker management.
Experience with UAE SME and Retail insurance market.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Excellent negotiation and client servicing.

Responsibilities

Lead profitable growth of SME and Retail business through UAE broker channel, with targets for new business, renewal and profitability.
Develop and execute SME and Retail commercial strategy aligned with objectives and market opportunities.
Build and strengthen broker relationships to increase share of wallet and portfolio contribution.
Establish broker segmentation and engagement approaches based on value.
Lead and develop Business Development and Validation teams with high performance culture.
Drive premium growth, retention, pricing alignment and service excellence across distribution.
Ensure seamless broker and client experience along end-to-end journey.
Identify market trends and translate insights into commercial actions.
