Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji & Company Pvt. Ltd. in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced procurement professional to lead indirect sourcing and category strategies across the group.

You will negotiate techno-commercial terms with suppliers and develop end-to-end sourcing plans aligned with business priorities. Responsibilities include spend analysis, cost optimization, SOP development, and ensuring procurement processes are aligned with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of procurement/sourcing experience in FMCG, Retail, or Automobile.
• Bachelor's in Engineering or MBA; CIPS preferred.
• Knowledge of e-Procurement, RFX, e-Auctions, and SAP ARIBA or Oracle Fusion.
• Strong project management, analytical, and influencing skills.
• Proficient in ERP SAP/Oracle, BI tools, and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop category-specific sourcing strategies for multiple groups.
• Negotiate techno-commercial terms with suppliers across categories.
• Conduct spend analysis and drive cost optimization projects.
• Drive procurement efficiencies and develop SOPs aligned with priorities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliant procurement processes.
• Manage supplier relationships with strategic partners.
• Lead RFQ processes and cross-geography negotiations.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to resolve product/quality issues.
• Establish time and action timelines for each buying season.
