Job summary

Iris Executives is supporting a leading UAE federal government entity in recruiting a Director of Human Resources. This strategic role shapes workforce planning, budgeting, organisation design, and internal mobility at a national level.

The successful candidate will guide HR policy, leadership development, and succession planning, partnering with senior leadership to deliver a modern, AI-enabled HR function across multiple departments and locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum UAE National (Emiratisation) profile with leadership experience.
• Strong track record in workforce planning and budgeting with finance teams.
• Experience designing organisation structures across large multi-entity groups.
• Proven ability to manage internal transfers/rotations through committees.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce planning and defend the annual position budget with finance.
• Own organisation design, reviews and restructuring for clarity and efficiency.
• Oversee internal transfer programs and present decisions to senior leadership.
• Develop HR policies and career paths aligned with federal frameworks.
