Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, seeks a Senior Specialist to support governance and policies across the organization. Based on-site, you will help implement and improve corporate governance frameworks, DOA, and policy documentation in collaboration with Legal, Governance, and Compliance teams.

You will contribute to the development of governance standards, control documentation, and reporting to strengthen transparency and accountability within ADNOC Group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in corporate governance, compliance, or legal practice.
• Strong knowledge of governance frameworks, authority matrices, and policy development.
• Professional proficiency in English with ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development, implementation, and periodic review of corporate governance frameworks across ADNOC Group.
• Support the establishment of governance practices aligned with regulations and best practices.
• Review and update governance frameworks detailing how the Group is directed, controlled, and held accountable.
• Contribute to governance policies, procedures, operating frameworks, and supporting mechanisms.
• Assess governance arrangements and recommend improvements for transparency and accountability.
• Support design and implementation of governance systems for effective information flow.
• Research leading governance practices to identify relevant improvements.
• Review and monitor the Delegation of Authority framework and policy requirements.
• Draft and update delegation matrices and related governance documentation.
• Identify gaps in delegated authority processes and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate governance documentation reflecting organisational requirements and approvals.
• Maintain governance documents and records to ensure proper governance.
• Coordinate with Legal, Governance, and Compliance across ADNOC for alignment.
• Provide governance training materials and promote awareness of governance responsibilities.
• Assist with board-related governance activities, including agenda preparation and minutes.
