Job summary

Sundus is seeking an accomplished General Counsel (UAEN) to lead the Group's Legal Affairs across its subsidiaries, providing strategic legal counsel to the executive team and Boards.

The role covers corporate and commercial matters, contracts, litigation, regulatory affairs, licensing, governance and risk management, and will oversee external legal relationships while developing a high-performing, compliant legal function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law required.
• Valid license or equivalent professional legal qualification.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial and corporate law.
• Strong understanding of regulatory, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Securities and capital markets regulations knowledge including SCA rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Legal Affairs function across the Group and subsidiaries.
• Provide strategic counsel to senior executives and the Board.
• Oversee corporate, commercial matters, licensing, regulatory compliance and governance.
• Manage complex litigation, investigations, contracts, regulatory matters and legal risk.
