Job summary

Qantra, Dubai-based, seeks a Group General Counsel to lead the Group Legal function and serve as principal legal advisor to the CEO and Board. You will oversee legal strategy, governance and risk across subsidiaries, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective contract management.

Qualifications

12+ years of legal experience, including 7+ years as a legal counsel or equivalent.
Bachelor's Degree in Law; MBA or postgraduate qualifications are assets.
Licensed by the Dubai Legal Affairs Department or a recognised law society.
Expertise in corporate law, capital markets, transport, labour, data protection, and anti-corruption regulations.

Responsibilities

Formulate and lead Group Legal strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
Direct legal policies, internal controls, and contract management frameworks.
Manage regulatory relationships and monitor evolving local and international laws.
Lead dispute resolution, settlements, and litigation management.
Provide proactive counsel to the Board and CEO on governance, compliance and strategic risks.
Mentor and develop the internal Group Legal team.
