Job summary

Air Arabia in Sharjah is seeking a Planning Engineer to plan, schedule, manage and coordinate all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities to ensure the continuous airworthiness of the fleet. The role involves developing short and long term maintenance plans in coordination with the line manager and CAMO engineering services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in aircraft engineering or related field with relevant PM experience.
• Certificate in Project Management or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• Certificates in cost control, compliance, budgeting, or QA add value and may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develops long-term and short-term maintenance plans for the assigned fleet per AMP and CAMO guidance.
• Forecasts maintenance in MIS (AMOS) and coordinates with stakeholders for timely execution.
• Creates work packages, preloads, and Gantt charts to support checks and maintenance work.
• Plans line and base maintenance with third-party workshops and coordinates with all stakeholders per procedures.
• Monitors calendar, hours, cycles, costs and business needs to manage maintenance activities.
