Job summary

Air Arabia is seeking a Base Maintenance Planning Leader to head the planning, control, and execution of base maintenance while ensuring full regulatory and airworthiness compliance. The role focuses on optimizing planning, data-driven decisions, and workforce allocation to improve efficiency.

The successful candidate will act as a primary liaison between CAMO, MCC, AMOS, hangar operations, OEMs and regulators to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance checks, with emphasis on sustaining

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field or Aircraft License with experience.
Experience with CAMO and airworthiness programs.
Familiarity with Civil Aviation Authority rules and maintenance policies.
Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling processes.

Responsibilities

Develops, publishes, and manages monthly heavy maintenance plans including A checks and major repairs.
Coordinates with short-term planning for streamlined processes.
Provides weekly MH analysis reports for management review.
Drives cost control without compromising safety and standards.
Liaises with CAMO, MCC, AMOS, OEMs and regulators for compliance.
Analyzes data to improve airworthiness effectiveness and efficiency.
Supports continuous airworthiness for the fleet and work scopes.
Identifies opportunities for cost reductions and planning improvements.
Oversees daily progress of heavy maintenance events and mitigates risks.
Manages records with traceability and timely archiving.
