Job summary

Peergrowth seeks a senior finance and strategy professional to lead corporate strategy, investment planning, fundraising, M&A, financial advisory and strategic project development across our Africa-focused portfolio.

You will drive financial modelling, valuation, and investment documentation, while structuring deals from concept to bankability and close. You will work closely with the Board, CFO and international investors to execute growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• 18–25 years total experience with 10+ years in corporate strategy, investment banking, or M&A.
• Strong background in mining, metals, energy, infrastructure, or natural resources.
• Proven track record of raising debt and equity capital.
• Experience working with senior leadership, boards and international investors.
• MBA or related master's; professional qualifications preferred (CA/CFA/ACA/ACCA).

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate strategy, growth planning and investment roadmaps.
• Drive debt and equity capital raising and manage investor relationships.
• Lead financial modelling, valuation, and investment documentation.
• Identify and execute M&A, JV and strategic partnerships.
• Structure projects from concept to bankability and financial close.
• Collaborate with Board, Chairman, CFO and senior leadership.
• Engage with banks, DFIs, SWFs, PE firms and institutional investors.
