Job summary

University of Sharjah seeks a senior finance professional to lead the income diversification and investment strategy. You will oversee the university's investment portfolio, assess risk, and guide policy and asset allocation decisions in collaboration with university leadership.

Desirable candidates hold a UAE-relevant master's degree, CFA/CPA, and 12–14 years of UAE experience in higher education or finance, with strong budgeting and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in finance or related field is required.
• Masters degree (MBA or MSc in Finance) preferred.
• CFA/CPA or similar designation highly preferred.
• 12–14 years of UAE experience in a similar role is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee income diversification and investment strategy.
• Oversee performance of the university's investment portfolio and diversification initiatives.
• Assist in formulating investment policies and asset allocation for pension investments.
• Identify and launch new revenue-generating projects and partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and governance standards.
• Lead the team, set goals, and participate in hiring and development.
