Job summary

EDGE Group, LAHAB’s UAE-based procurement leadership role, seeks a seasoned Procurement Manager to drive sourcing strategies and end-to-end procurement operations. You will lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and cross‑functional collaboration to align with sovereign supply chain objectives.

Ideal candidate brings 5–10+ years in procurement, ERP/SAP experience, and a track record of cost optimization and supplier performance excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• MBA or equivalent preferred.
• CIPS, CPSM or PMP certification advantageous.
• Experience in regulated industries and international sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage end-to-end procurement process from sourcing to contract award and supplier performance.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified suppliers and contractors.
• Lead contract negotiations to achieve optimal cost, quality, delivery, and risk outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks to support informed decision‑making.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand demand and technical requirements.
• Manage supplier performance, including KPIs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Control procurement budgets and identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or commercial disputes.
• Prepare procurement reports, forecasts, and management dashboards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop procurement team members
