Job summary

EDGE is seeking a procurement professional to source and secure direct material contracts for its projects from Abu Dhabi. You will lead supplier selection, negotiate terms, and deploy sustainable purchasing strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes.

Based in Abu Dhabi, you will forecast markets, manage bid/RFQ processes, monitor supplier performance, and ensure compliance with internal procedures and export regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• 7-8 years of relevant experience in procurement in the automotive industry.
• Proven capability in sourcing, contracting and managing procurement processes.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving with the ability to influence key decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cost savings and operational efficiencies through effective negotiations.
• Prepare solicitation documents and manage solicitation cycles and timelines.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery with quality standards.
• Foster strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Lead commercial negotiations and enforcement of contracts.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and export regulations.
