Job summary

EDGE is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead direct material sourcing and contractual coverage. You will drive supplier selection, negotiate terms, and deploy sustainable buying strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver cost savings and secure supply.

Based in Abu Dhabi, you will analyze markets, manage risk, and ensure compliance with regulations and EDGE's policies, while advancing procurement excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Excellent communication in English (verbal and written).
• 7-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role in automotive industry.
• Proven capability in sourcing, contracting and managing procurement processes.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence key business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier selection and negotiations to optimize commercial outcomes.
• Create and deploy sustainable purchasing strategies for material categories.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize purchasing processes.
• Forecast the global supply base, markets, and cost drivers; manage risks.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal procedures in procurement.
