Job summary

EDGE Group's LAHAB, UAE's sole military‑grade munitions manufacturer, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, contract negotiations, and end‑to‑end procurement operations in line with quality, cost and schedule targets.

Reporting to the Procurement leadership, you will develop strategies, onboard qualified suppliers, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement across a highly regulated manufacturing environment in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or PMP are desirable.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, oil & gas, EPC, or regulated industries.
• Knowledge of international sourcing and trade regulations, preferably controlled and DG materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage end-to-end procurement process from sourcing to contract award and supplier performance.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified suppliers and contractors.
• Lead contract negotiations to achieve cost, quality, delivery, and risk outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations; monitor market trends and supplier risks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand demand and technical requirements.
• Manage supplier performance, KPIs, audits, and continuous improvement.
• Control procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery or disputes.
• Prepare procurement reports, forecasts, and dashboards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team.
