Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Cost Controller with MEGA EPC project experience for a PMC assignment. You will oversee cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, delivering cost-risk insights to project management and executives.

The role requires strong cost control, risk management, and EVM expertise across large-scale projects, with coordination across Finance, Procurement, Engineering, and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Certification in CCP, PMP, CMA, CPA, MRICS, or equivalent preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in cost control, project controls, or related fields.
• Experience in EPC/Oil & Gas/Construction projects is preferred.
• Experience managing medium- to large-scale project budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update project budgets, baselines, estimates, and cost breakdown structures.
• Establish cost control procedures and monitor commitments, expenditures, and variances.
• Prepare cost performance reports, dashboards, trend analysis, and corrective actions including EVM.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts, cash flow projections, and final cost reporting.
• Monitor profitability, margins, contractual costs, variations, and cost impact of scope changes.
• Identify cost risks and opportunities, maintain risk registers and contingency plans.
