Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team seeks a Project Controls Manager for a major offshore project. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will lead planning, cost control, risk management, and reporting across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Start-up stages.

You will oversee a multidisciplinary team, implement robust project controls frameworks, and ensure timely performance information for management decisions, with a focus on cost, schedule, safety, and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15-20 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or Major Capital Projects.
• Minimum 10 years in Project Controls leadership roles on large EPC/EPCI projects.
• Proven experience managing Project Controls functions for offshore oil and gas projects.
• Strong experience in planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, risk management, and project reporting.
• Experience working on projects exceeding USD 500 Million in value.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Project Controls team—including Planning Engineers, Cost Engineers, Risk Specialists and Reporting Engineers.
• Develop and implement Project Controls procedures, systems, and reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC project execution, governance, and reporting standards.
• Provide professional guidance and leadership to project teams on Project Controls matters.
• Establish and maintain integrated schedules across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Start-up.
• Review EPC baseline schedules, monitor milestones and schedule performance indicators.
• Conduct delay analysis and develop recovery plans; manage schedule risks.
• Establish cost control systems, monitor budgets, expenditures, and forecasts; prepare dashboards.
• Develop progress measurement systems; measure performance with KPIs and EVM.
• Lead project risk management activities; maintain risk registers and mitigation plans.
• Administer change management; evaluate cost/schedule impacts and monitor change orders.
• Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports; provide executive dashboards and analysis.
• Review contractor planning, scheduling and reporting; support claims and EOT evaluations.
• Coordinate with ADNOC Offshore, PMC, EPC Contractors, Vendors, and stakeholders.
