Job summary

MCG Asia in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Legal Counsel - Corporate & Commercial to join the team. You will advise on UAE corporate and commercial matters, draft and negotiate complex contracts, and support governance and regulatory compliance to enable business operations.

The ideal candidate holds a law degree (LLB) with 5–10 years UAE experience, fluent Arabic and strong English drafting. UAE legal qualification is required, with preference for sectors like manufacturing or energy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Law (LLB or equivalent).
• 5-10 years of relevant legal experience, with UAE experience.
• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory, with strong English drafting skills.
• Must hold UAE legal qualification or registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate and commercial matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks in business operations.
• Support governance, regulatory compliance, and policies.
• Provide guidance to business development, procurement, and commercial teams.
• Liaise with external counsel and regulatory authorities when required.
