Job summary

Abu Dhabi Ports is seeking a procurement professional to support pre-award and post-award contract management activities in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on developing yearly procurement plans, ensuring compliance, and assisting with RFEI/RFP processes and bid evaluations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in procurement or a related field and 4–6 years of procurement experience, with strong negotiation and relationship management skills and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in procurement, quantity surveying, business administration or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in pre-award and post-award contract management.
• Good knowledge of procurement regulations and industry standards.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Excellent analytical and research capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration across levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support yearly procurement plans and ensure policy compliance.
• Assist with RFEI/RFP processes and evaluation of bid aspects.
• Prepare scope of work and gather required information and documents.
• Organize pre-tender meetings and site visits; assist with awards and correspondence.
• Interpret contract terms; provide admin support (bank guarantees, insurances, invoices).
• Handle variations, claims and contract amendments; support close-out of contracts.
