Job summary

Abu Dhabi Ports is seeking a procurement professional to support pre-award and post-award contract management activities in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on developing yearly procurement plans, ensuring compliance, and assisting with RFEI/RFP processes and bid evaluations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in procurement or a related field and 4–6 years of procurement experience, with strong negotiation and relationship management skills and fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Support yearly procurement plans and ensure policy compliance.

• Interpret contract terms; provide admin support (bank guarantees, insurances, invoices).

Job description

Provide support in pre-award and post-award contracts management activities.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

Support the stakeholders in the development of yearly procurement plans and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Assist to prepare Request for Expression of Interest and/or Pre-qualification, evaluation of unpriced commercial aspects of the technical bid and the Bidders Lists.

Support the end users in preparing the scope of work and collecting information and documents.

Organize and attend pre-tender meetings, support to arrange site visits with bidders, prepare recommendation for award and Letter of Award and handle the correspondence during the bidding period with the necessary input from end users, where required.

Interpret contract terms and conditions, provide the administrative support (bank guarantees, insurances, invoices, etc.) and maintain records (contract logs and contract files) conforming agreed changes to the ITT package.

Handle variations and claims and submit contract amendments, as required.

Support to perform close-out of contractual matters upon completion.

Qualifications

Educational and Technical Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree inProcurement,Quantity Surveying, Business Administrationor a related field. Master's degree is a plus

Language Skills:

High level of proficiency in English; working knowledge of Arabic is highlydesirable.

Years of Experience:

A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a similar role

Nature of Experience:

Experience in pre-award and post-award contract management.

Good knowledge of procurement regulations and industry standards

Ability to understand strategic issues and hold an overall perspective of the organization.

Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

Strong analytical and research skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
