Job summary

Energy World is seeking a Chief Accountant to oversee the company’s complete accounting and financial reporting function in the UAE. You will ensure accurate books, timely reporting, strong controls and UAE compliance, while managing day-to-day accounting, payroll coordination, VAT and corporate tax matters.

You will lead month-end and year-end closing, supervise cash flow, reconciliations, inventory and budgeting, and coordinate with external auditors and financial stakeholders to deliver

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle and maintain accurate financial records.
• Supervise accounts payable, receivable, invoicing and payments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and management accounts.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Coordinate VAT, corporate tax and other statutory accounting requirements.
• Provide management with meaningful financial analysis and recommendations.
