Job summary

Ciena is seeking a senior enterprise sales leader to drive growth with AI infrastructure providers, hyperscalers, and cloud operators. You will own named accounts, build executive relationships, and shape long-term opportunities across optical, routing, automation, and network software.

The role emphasizes strategic account planning, complex multi-stakeholder deals, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Systems Engineering, Product Management, Services, and Marketing to expand pipelines

Qualifications

5+ years in enterprise technology sales, business development, or account management.
Experience selling networking, cloud, infrastructure, or data-centre solutions.
Neoscaler/Neocloud market expertise and relationships.
Strong ability to build executive relationships and manage complex sales cycles.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
Proven prospecting and account development capabilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute account plans for named Neoscaler and AI infrastructure accounts.
Build relationships with founders, CEOs, CTOs, infrastructure leaders, and procurement stakeholders.
Identify and develop opportunities across data-centre interconnect, optical transport, routing, and automation solutions.
Expand existing accounts while identifying emerging AI infrastructure operators and next-generation cloud providers.
Lead virtual account teams, opportunity qualification, account strategy, negotiations, and customer presentations across Sales, Systems Engineering, Product Line Management, Services, and Marketing.
