Job summary

Ajman University is seeking an Academic Applications Lead to provide strategic leadership for student-facing systems across the university. You will oversee the implementation team for academic applications, manage the student information system landscape, and ensure seamless integration of systems supporting registration, advising, and student services.

The role requires strategic planning, vendor management, and collaboration with academic leadership and IT stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer field is required.
• 7+ years in higher education technology, including leadership.
• Experience with Banner SIS and Oracle-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead change management for major system implementations and upgrades.
• Manage vendor relationships for academic applications.
• Develop strategic roadmap for academic applications aligned with digital goals.
• Oversee integration and migration for SIS, LMS, and related modules.
• Coordinate testing, data mapping, and QA for new releases.
