Job summary

Central Quarry & Mining (CQM) is seeking a reliable Storekeeper to manage inventory and day-to-day store operations at our Ras Al Khaimah quarry facility. The role focuses on maintaining accurate stock records, receiving and issuing materials, and ensuring efficient store organisation to support quarry operations.

Responsibilities include stock counts, documentation, and coordinating with maintenance, procurement, and operations teams to ensure materials are available when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Storekeeper or inventory management role.
• Experience in mining/quarrying, construction, heavy equipment, or industrial sector is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in maintaining inventory records.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage stock accurately and follow established procedures.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, record, and store incoming materials, equipment, consumables, and spare parts.
• Issue materials and spare parts against authorised requests and maintain documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock registers regularly.
• Monitor stock levels and inform relevant department when replenishment is required.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, and organisation of materials.
• Maintain records of all incoming and outgoing stock.
• Coordinate with maintenance, procurement, and operations teams to ensure materials are available when required.
• Identify discrepancies, damaged items, and slow-moving or obsolete stock.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised store.

Job Description

Central Quarry & Mining (CQM) is looking for a reliable and organised Storekeeper to manage inventory and day-to-day store operations at our quarry facility in Ras Al Khaimah.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, managing the receipt and issuance of materials and spare parts, and ensuring the efficient organisation of store inventory to support ongoing quarry operations.
