Job summary

Salt is seeking an experienced Product Owner to transform the technology experience for store colleagues across its retail network in Dubai. You will own the roadmap for store technology, devices, and inventory, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure and Data teams to deliver meaningful improvements at pace.

The role requires a strong track record in retail tech transformation, excellent stakeholder management at C-suite level, and a hands-on approach to modernising

Qualifications

• 10+ years of retail experience, with exposure to store operations and head-office environments.
• Proven track record of delivering retail technology transformation.
• Experience owning technology used by frontline/store colleagues at scale.
• Strong understanding of store infrastructure, devices, hardware and connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Own the store technology and colleague experience roadmap across stores and geographies.
• Lead improvements across Wi-Fi, hardware, devices and connectivity with infra teams.
• Consolidate the store device estate to reduce the number of devices used by colleagues.
• Simplify and consolidate colleague applications, portals and dashboards.
• Lead frontend transformation of the colleague app, migrating from Xamarin to React Native.
• Modernise inventory management tech, replacing legacy systems and reducing manual steps.
• Act as SME for store and colleague technology influencing architecture and roadmap.
• Translate operational pain points from salesfloor to clear product requirements.
• Partner with Engineering, QA, Data and Business teams to deliver end-to-end products.
• Prioritise backlog to deliver measurable business and colleague outcomes.
• Communicate product strategy and progress to C-suite and executives.
• Use data, analytics and feedback to identify opportunities and measure performance.
• Apply AI-first mindset to prototype, automate and improve delivery.
