Job summary

ARABIAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LLC SPC in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Storekeeper responsible for managing day-to-day operations related to material receipt, issue, control, and records on site.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in construction projects, preferably with building or villa projects. Knowledge of SAP is a plus. This role includes maintaining stock records, preparing reports, and ensuring materials are properly stored and labeled.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in construction projects, preferably in building or villa projects.
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred.

• Record received purchased items from the Purchasing Department.
• Prepare the Cumulative Monthly Stock Balance Report for materials.
• Keep Delivery Notes and Invoices as required.
• Ensure approved materials are labeled correctly.
• Control excess and unusable materials during the project period.

Job description

The Storekeeper is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of material receipt, issue, control and record on site as per related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Record received purchased items from the Purchasing Department.
• Prepare the Cumulative Monthly Stock Balance Report containing the supplied and remaining quantities of each material as per Company Accounts Codes and Works Items for construction materials, tools and consumables.
• Keep Delivery Notes, Invoices, SRTs, MRRS and LC copies for the duration of the project and as required by the Project Manager.
• Record itemized deliveries in the Material Stock Card as per Company Accounts Codes and Works Items, separately for construction supplies.
• Record and sign the daily issued materials registers.
• Ensure that approved delivered materials are properly labeled with production and expiry dates and shelf life, and that the corresponding technical literature is available.
• Control excess and unusable materials during the entire project period.
• Store materials in a suitable location ready for inspection and carry out periodic stock control.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in construction projects, preferably building or villa projects.
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
