Job summary

Gulf Contracting & Landscaping (GCL) invites an experienced Storekeeper to manage project stores in Abu Dhabi. You will receive, inspect, record, and issue construction materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely distribution to site teams.

This role requires 3–8 years in construction stores, Diploma or Bachelor in Supply Chain/Logistics, and proficiency with ERP systems and MS Excel to maintain inventory records and reports.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
• 3–8 years of experience as a Storekeeper within construction or contracting industry.
• Experience handling construction materials, tools, MEP items, and equipment.
• Knowledge of material receiving, issuing, and inventory control processes.
• Experience working on building, infrastructure, or MEP projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Excel for inventory tracking.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate with site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• UAE construction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming construction materials, tools, and equipment from suppliers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock control procedures are followed.
• Issue materials to site teams based on approved requests and maintain material movement records.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement teams for material replenishment.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of construction materials to avoid damage or loss.
• Maintain updated records of GRNs, delivery notes, material requests, and inventory reports.
• Conduct regular stock checks and physical inventory counts.
• Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, procurement, and suppliers regarding material requirements.
• Manage storage areas according to HSE and site safety requirements.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly store reports for project management.
