Storekeeper – Construction Industry

We are looking for a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage material inventory, tools, and equipment at our construction sites in the UAE. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of materials while maintaining proper documentation in compliance with company and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, tools, and equipment against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems (manual or digital).
• Issue materials to site teams as per approved material requisitions.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
• Coordinate with procurement, site engineers, and project managers for material planning.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of the store warehouse.
• Report damaged, expired, or excess materials to the concerned department.
• Monitor minimum stock levels and raise timely purchase requests.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment per HSE guidelines.
• Transport materials between store and site locations using company vehicle when required.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of UAE storekeeper experience, preferably in construction or contracting.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Good command of English; Arabic, Urdu, or Hindi is an added advantage.
• Ability to work in outdoor and site environments.
