Job summary

Al-Futtaim Retail in the UAE is seeking a Goods Flow Manager to optimise store goods flow, ensuring stock availability and customer satisfaction while managing budgets.

You will lead a diverse team, implement capacity planning, and drive efficient receiving, replenishment and order fulfilment, aligning with the IKEA vision of a better everyday life.

This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and the ability to work flexible hours in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in retail/logistics at tactical/operational level.
• Proven leadership of teams and processes.
• Experience in budgeting and achieving financial targets.
• Ability to set and monitor action plans with clear direction.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Logistics Manager and help execute goods flow action plans.
• Lead the goods flow team to optimise store operations and stock availability at low cost.
• Secure a capacity plan and an effective goods flow process including receiving, replenishment, and order fulfilment.
• Understand budget, cost and KPIs to plan, monitor and steer the business.
• Implement logistics actions from the store business plan into goods flow.
• Identify and develop talents for succession planning.
• Ensure efficient daily goods flow operations per the Service Protocol and minimise pickup wait times.
• Ensure compliance with IKEA code of conduct, regulations and health, safety, environment standards.
