The candidate will lead store teams, ensure ERP-based processes, and coordinate with project and procurement teams for smooth operations.

James L Williams Middle East (JLW) is seeking a highly organized and experienced Store Controller to join our team and oversee site and central store operations across our growing Data Centre projects in the GCC. This role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in inventory management, material control, fixed asset management, and multi-site store operations within the MEP and construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall control and management of site and central stores across all projects.
• Ensure accurate inventory control at all site stores.
• Manage, lead, and train the store team.
• Monitor and control fixed assets, tools, and equipment.
• Handle the mobilization and demobilization of site stores.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth store operations.
• Coordinate with the Procurement team to ensure effective material management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the MEP construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control systems.
• Proven experience in managing multiple project stores and a central store.
• Good understanding of ERP systems.
• Knowledge of fixed asset and power tool management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A valid UAE driving licence and own vehicle will be an advantage.
• Willingness to work in any GCC country as per company requirements.
