Job summary

Hellmann East Europe Group is seeking a warehouse operative in Dubai to support daily warehouse activities. You will operate a forklift, handle stock, and assist with packing, loading, and documentation.

The role requires basic computer skills, good English, and a UAE driving license. Key responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, reporting incidents, and contributing to accurate stock reports and monthly updates to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma in warehousing/logistics or higher preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in warehousing.
• Knowledge of warehousing processes is an advantage.
• Basic computer knowledge is an advantage.
• Proficient in English.
• Heavy vehicle/driver’s license is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and complete weekly forklift checklist.
• Perform picking, packing, and packaging and shrink wrapping of orders to standards.
• Prepare and complete delivery documentation (GRNs, tally sheets).
• Ensure goods are handled to prevent damage to goods, warehouse, or vehicles.
• Keep warehouse clean and tidy with regular housekeeping.

About The Job

• Ensure that all duties assigned are carried out according to the policies and procedures set forth by the company.
• The forklift is driven safely, and the weekly forklift checklist is completed and filed.
• Perform picking, packing, and packaging and / shrink wrapping of orders as per the standards stipulated.
• Prepare and complete delivery documentation: tally sheets, goods receipt notes (GRNs) and delivery advice as may be assigned from time to time
• Ensure that goods are handled into, within and out of the warehouse in a manner which will not cause damage to the goods, to the warehouse or to the delivery vehicles.
• Ensure that the warehouse is always kept clean and tidy through regular housekeeping
• Report any misconduct by contractors / drivers on site immediately.
• Always uphold the image of the company.
• Updating stock reports for customers may be required from time to time.
• Creating and maintaining warehouse job files as may be required from time to time.
• Sending stock reports for the customer on request and monthly as may be required from time to time.
• Ensure that adequate safety equipment and uniforms are always worn when in the warehouse and / or yard.
• Report all accidents / incidents / damages or near accidents /incidents / damages / damages immediately to the WIC / warehouse snr. supervisor
• Conduct stock checks and reconciliations as may be required from time to time
• Must be willing to work overtime from time to time as may be required
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as may be required from time to time
• You are responsible to comply with the HWL Health and safety management systems policies and procedures applicable to employees.
• You responsible to know your health and safety responsibilities as per the UAE health and safety regulations and comply with them throughout the duration of your work, not limited to:
• Always take sufficient care of yourself and your fellow workers.
• Always wear the Personal protective equipment provided to you during the work.
• Do not misuse any equipment’s or anything provided in the name of safety.
• Report incidents and equipment faults to your supervisor
• Always follow instructions given by your supervisor.

About You

• High School Certificate: Diploma in warehousing and/or logistics or higher preferred
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in warehousing.Knowledge of warehousing processes
• Basic computer knowledge is an advantage
• Communicate in English
• Heavy vehicle /driver’s license is necessary
