Job summary

PROTEINHOUSE Dubai is seeking a full-time on-site Steward in Dubai to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and service areas. You will handle dishwashing, cleaning equipment, waste disposal, and keep stations organized while supporting the food preparation and service teams.

You will work with kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient operations, safety, and guest satisfaction, with flexibility to cover shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills to support a positive guest experience.
• Foundational Food & Beverage and Food Service knowledge of kitchen operations.
• Ability to participate in hygiene, safety, and operational training.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to cleaning protocols.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation; prior hospitality experience is a plus.

Role Description

The Stewards role at PROTEINHOUSE Dubai is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. Stewards are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and service areas, including dishwashing, cleaning equipment, and ensuring proper waste disposal. They support the food preparation and service teams by organizing utensils, replenishing supplies, and ensuring workstations are well-stocked and orderly. Daily tasks include following food safety and sanitation standards, assisting with receiving and storing deliveries, and handling cleaning schedules for back-of-house areas. Stewards also collaborate closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient operations and a safe, clean environment for guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with team members and support a positive guest experience.
• Candidates should possess foundational Food & Beverage and Food Service skills to understand kitchen operations, basic food handling, and service workflows.
• Candidates should possess the ability to participate in and support Training related to hygiene, safety procedures, and operational standards.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow cleaning and safety protocols consistently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines; prior experience in restaurant or hospitality settings is an advantage.
