Job summary

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to oversee daily stewarding operations, ensuring top cleanliness, hygiene, and organization across back‑of‑house areas.

You will supervise the stewarding team, coordinate with Culinary and Food & Beverage colleagues, and train staff to uphold HACCP standards and safe chemical handling.

This role requires hotel hospitality experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• BWS stewarding experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, HACCP, and safe chemical handling.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily stewarding activities.
• Ensure kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware are cleaned and stored.
• Maintain high hygiene and sanitation per HACCP requirements.
• Monitor the proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure waste is handled and disposed of according to hotel procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchens, dishwashing areas, and storage areas.
• Prepare duty rosters and allocate tasks according to operational requirements.
• Train, guide, and motivate stewarding team members.
• Coordinate closely with Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to support smooth operations.
• Monitor inventory and report shortages, breakages, or equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.

• Previous experience in Stewarding, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, HACCP, and safe chemical handling.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and flexible shifts.
