Job summary

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to lead the stewarding team and ensure top hygiene, sanitation, and organization across kitchen and back-of-house areas.

You will supervise daily activities, train staff, coordinate with Culinary and F&B teams, and uphold HACCP standards in a fast-paced hotel environment in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Experience in stewarding within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP and safe chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the stewarding team.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware are properly cleaned and stored.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation in accordance with hotel and HACCP requirements.
• Monitor the proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure waste is handled and disposed of according to hotel procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchens, dishwashing areas, and storage areas.
• Prepare duty rosters and allocate tasks according to operational requirements.
• Train, guide, and motivate stewarding team members.
• Coordinate closely with Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to support smooth operations.
• Monitor inventory and report shortages, breakages, or equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in Stewarding, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, HACCP, and safe chemical handling.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and flexible shifts.
