Job summary

One&Only The Palm in Dubai is seeking an Assistant Manager, Stewarding to lead the stewarding department in a luxury hospitality setting. You will oversee dishwashing, equipment maintenance, inventory control, and ensure a hygienic and organized environment.

You will collaborate with F&B leadership to uphold high standards of cleanliness, train staff in hygiene practices, and contribute to budget planning and cost-control measures for the department.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HACCP principles and sanitation standards.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals handling, storage and use.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and policies.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Experience in stewarding or supervisory roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the stewarding team, including dishwashers and cleaners.
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Manage inventory and restocking of stewarding supplies and consumables.
• Coordinate with purchasing and kitchen to ensure timely supplies.
• Develop and enforce cleaning schedules and hygiene practices.
