Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island seeks a Steward to join the Kitchen Stewards team at its UAE resort. The role focuses on cleaning, sanitation, and safe handling of kitchen areas and equipment, reporting to the Steward Team Leader. Fluency in English and a positive, team-oriented mindset are essential.

No prior experience is required, but 1 year in a 5-star hotel or integrated resort is preferred. Candidates should be physically fit and ready to work flexible shifts in a luxury hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Secondary education required; higher credentials are assets.

• Knowledge of correct use, handling, and storage of cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Clean and store crockery, pots, and glassware accordingly.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas, including ovens, stovetops, floors, and ceilings.
• Use, handle, and store cleaning chemicals correctly.
• Remove and dispose of kitchen garbage.
• Perform duties assigned by the Steward Team Leader and Supervisor.
• Interact professionally and positively with department and company employees, management, and contractors.
• Attend departmental and interdepartmental meetings and share relevant information.
• Encourage good relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two-way and multicultural communication.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct.
• Remain well-mannered, well-groomed, and hygienic at all times, in accordance with department and company standards.
• Follow health and safety standards and strive for continuous improvement to prevent health and injury hazards.
• Participate in the company recycling program and maintain strict discipline to reduce, reuse, and recycle wherever possible.

About Wynn Al Marjan Island:

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theatre, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, water features, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Steward to join the Kitchen Stewards team.

About You

• Physically fit and capable of cleaning high areas, large equipment, and heavy lifting.


• Good interpersonal skills.


• Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment.


• Flexible with work schedules and able to work in shifts based on business needs.


• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.
