Job summary

Power International Holding in Abu Dhabi seeks a Pulpit Operator to control steel production from the central control room. You will operate rolling mills, furnaces, and casting machines via HMI/SCADA, monitor data, and adjust parameters to sustain safety and quality.

The role requires at least 1 year of GCC experience, a Diploma in Electrical engineering or related certificate, and SAP ERP familiarity. You will collaborate with maintenance, QA, and on-ground teams, maintain records, and

Experience with HMI/SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

Operate rolling mills, furnaces, and casting machines from the pulpit using HMI/SCADA.
Coordinate with on-ground teams to maintain production flow.
Adjust process parameters to optimize efficiency and quality.
Monitor alarms and take corrective actions, including emergency shutdowns when required.
Maintain records of process data, output, downtime, and incidents.
Support process improvements for better efficiency.
Ensure energy use is optimized to reduce costs.
Prepare shift reports for the next shift.
