Job summary

ENOC LUBRICANTS AND GREASE MANUFACTURING PLANT LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to oversee static equipment maintenance in a refinery setting. • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of refinery maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP/Oracle/Maximo CMMS systems is required.
• Proficient in technical report writing and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage static equipment maintenance within the assigned area.
• Supervise maintenance contractors and technicians.
• Conduct troubleshooting of vessels, columns, fired heaters, and heat exchangers.
• Execute preventive maintenance and PM schedules.
• Support budget planning and cost reporting for static maintenance.
• Coordinate repairs and shutdown activities and document costs.

Job description

Job Purpose

Responsible for the functional management of the static equipment maintenance activities within assigned area nbsp Carry out static maintenance activities for assigned area by implementing quality work plans for corrective routine and preventive maintenance works using extensive maintenance experience and Computerized Maintenance Management System nbsp

Principal Accountabilities

• Act as per EPCL Incident Command System or as directed by Emergency Command Centre Commander ECCC Incident Commander
• Ensure that health safety and environmental policies and procedures are implemented and complied with by staff and contractors
• Carry out static activities within assigned area as per management directives
• Supervise static maintenance contractors technicians within assigned area
• Conduct troubleshooting of refinery static equipment systems which amongst others include
• Vessels
• Columns
• Fired Heaters
• Heat exchangers
• Conduct normal static maintenance work and Preventive maintenance programmes
• Support senior static engineer lead mechanical maintenance engineer for equipment failures investigation and root cause analysis
• Propose new budget items utilize approved yearly budget and provide progress report to senior static engineer lead engineer mechanical maintenance
• Execute planned work during refinery T amp I shutdowns
• Complete and update static work as per PM schedule and work requests issued by different departments using SAP or other CMMS system Update costs and repair history for all Work Orders
• Manage allocated resources effectively and efficiently

Additional Principal Accountabilities

• Support senior static engineer lead mechanical maintenance engineer in monitoring work done by service contractors
• Support senior static engineer lead mechanical maintenance engineer in preparation of technical requirements for quotations technical review of quotations and inspection of delivered spare parts for compliance with purchase order requirements
• Conduct staff training to ensure adequate staff knowledge and competency to perform activities safely efficiently and effectively
• Conduct on job training for UAE nationals
• Respond to emergency call outs as and when required by the operations department
• Expedite orders for materials and services

Cyber Information Security Responsibilities

• Comply with all applicable information security policies standards and procedures
• Classify and protect information assets in accordance with the Data Classification Standard
• Participate in mandatory information security awareness and training programs
• Support information security initiatives and activities within the organization
• Consider information security requirements when managing changes involving information assets
• Report security incidents vulnerabilities weaknesses or non-compliance in accordance with established procedures
• Fulfil role-specific information security responsibilities and contribute to maintaining the effectiveness of the Information Security Management System

ISMS Experience

• Graduate in mechanical engineering from a recognized college or university
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a refinery petrochemical environment covering maintenance repair troubleshooting of electrical equipment
• Computer literate Experience with computerized maintenance management system E g SAP Oracle Maximo
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes
• Must be thoroughly familiar with refining environment safe working procedures
• Must be proficient and fluent in both written and spoken English
