Job summary

Rixos Al Mairid is seeking a skilled Technician, Employee Accommodation to maintain and repair all technical systems in staff housing. You will perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks, conduct regular inspections, and keep precise maintenance logs to ensure a safe living environment.

The role emphasizes responsiveness to emergencies, inventory control, and collaboration with the Supervisor and other departments to support facility improvements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Experience in hospitality maintenance or residential settings preferred.
• Ability to perform multi-disciplinary repairs and safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Inspect rooms, common areas, and equipment to identify issues.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
• Keep accurate logs of tasks, repairs, and servicing.
• Manage inventory of tools, parts, and materials.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other departments for projects.
• Report major issues to supervisory staff promptly.
• Assist in staff moves and accommodation upgrades.
