Job summary

Penspen is urgently seeking a Sr. Construction Eng - Completion/ICAPs for an offshore PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role covers Wellhead Towers, subsea cable systems, piping and brownfield work, ensuring proper inspection, documentation and handover to Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning and Operations.

You will lead offshore completion activities, coordinate with multiple interfaces and verify turnover. Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 20+ years in offshore projects with ICAPS

Qualifications

• Experience with ICAPS or equivalent completion management system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage construction completion, system completion and punch-list activities offshore.
• Lead completion activities for offshore areas and ensure proper handover to Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning.
• Interface with Construction, Completion, QA/QC, Engineering, Operations and Client.
• Maintain ICAPS data, verify inspections, tests and completion records.

Penspen is urgently looking to hire for Sr. Construction Eng - Completion/ICAPs (Offshore -WHTs, Subsea Cable, Piping) for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi.

Qualification Required

• The candidates should have bachelor's degree of engineering in relevant discipline from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for coordinating and managing construction completion, system completion, punch-list management, inspection/test records, ICAPS data and turnover activities for offshore oil & gas facilities.


• Overall covers offshore Wellhead Towers (WHTs), subsea cable systems, piping systems and brownfield modifications, ensuring that completed construction work is correctly inspected, documented, systemized and handed over from Construction to Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning and ultimately Operations.


• Acts as a key interface between Construction, Completion, Commissioning, QA/QC, Engineering, Operations, subcontractors and the Client/Operator.


• Lead construction completion activities for assigned offshore areas and systems.


• Establish completion priorities in line with commissioning and start-up requirements.


• Coordinate completion activities using ICAPS or equivalent computerized completion management systems.


• Ensure all construction activities are correctly recorded and systemized.


• Define and maintain system/subsystem boundaries.


• Ensure construction and completion data is accurately entered and maintained in ICAPS or equivalent system.


• Verify status of inspection, testing and completion activities.


• Track completion records against tag numbers and system boundaries.


• Coordinate completion activities for subsea cable installations.


• Verify cable pull-in, hang-off and termination completion.


• Lead completion activities associated with brownfield modifications and tie-ins.


• Coordinate completion of new piping and equipment connected to existing facilities.

Experience Required

• Minimum 20+ years of experience, with at least 5 to 8+ years significant in offshore project.


• Proven experience on offshore oil & gas projects, preferably involving WHTs, subsea cables, piping and brownfield modifications.


• Strong practical experience with mechanical completion, systemization, punch-list management, pre-commissioning handover and commissioning turnover.


• Demonstrated experience using ICAPS or an equivalent computerized completion management system.


• Preferred experience from PMC/EPC Background.


• Previous ADNOC Offshore Experience is advantage.
