Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim seeks a Senior Enterprise Architect to lead the Enterprise Architecture Practice and drive customer experience initiatives across platforms such as CRM, loyalty, DAM, CMS, and eCommerce in the UAE. You will align business strategy with technology, establish governance, and shape roadmaps for transformation programs.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in customer experience, business systems, data/integration, application and information architecture.
• Strong capabilities in business process analysis, SDLC, ITSM, Agile/Lean, infrastructure, and EA/ITIL frameworks.
• Exceptional interpersonal, facilitation, negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead EA Practice – governance, standards, roadmaps, reporting and communications.
• Define Customer Experience Architecture across channels, CRM, loyalty, DAM, CMS, eCommerce.
• Drive technology strategy, evaluate platforms, costs, risks, and contracts for fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Translate business drivers into scalable enterprise and solution architectures.
• Lead application portfolio rationalization and consolidation efforts.
• Oversee architecture governance and transformation across SDLC.

ROLE SUMMARY

Majid Al Futtaim is constantly focusing on operational excellence by continuously identifying opportunities to maximize efficiency and effectiveness across teams, functions and businesses. The Senior Enterprise Architect will be responsible for leading and managing architecture discussion related to customer experience domain and drive strategic projects related to enterprise architecture. Also, showcase broader EA capabilities across different domains and to support architecture functions

ROLE PROFILE

• Manage the Enterprise Architecture (EA) Practice – Establish EA governance, standards, principles, roadmaps, reporting, and communication across the organization.
• Lead Customer Experience Architecture – Define and maintain architecture across customer channels, CRM, loyalty, DAM, CMS, eCommerce, and related platforms.
• Drive Technology Strategy & Platform Selection – Assess existing and emerging technologies, evaluate business cases, costs, risks, contracts, and recommend fit-for-purpose platforms.
• Align Business Strategy with Technology – Translate business drivers, capabilities, operating models, and future-state requirements into scalable enterprise and solution architectures.
• Lead Application Portfolio Rationalization – Assess the application landscape, identify redundancies and technology aging, drive consolidation, and manage rationalization roadmaps.
• Govern Architecture Governance & Transformation – Support demand and change advisory boards, oversee architecture alignment throughout the SDLC, and provide guidance to project/application architects.
• Drive Enterprise Transformation & Innovation – Lead major transformation programs such as CRM migrations, evaluate market and technology trends, and identify opportunities for digital innovation and business growth.
• Manage Business, Financial & Organizational Impact – Develop value propositions, cost-benefit analyses, investment priorities, implementation plans, and manage organizational, financial, risk, and stakeholder considerations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Architecture Expertise – Deep expertise in customer experience, business systems, data/integration, application, technology, and information architecture.
• Business & Process Management – Strong capabilities in business process analysis, design, delivery, information management, SDLC, ITSM, Agile/Lean, infrastructure, and EA/ITIL frameworks.
• Leadership & Communication – Exceptional interpersonal, facilitation, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead teams and communicate vision effectively.
• Strategic & Analytical Thinking – Strong business acumen, structured problem-solving, planning, organization, business engineering, and understanding of holistic enterprise architecture and modeling approaches.
• Experience & Education – 10+ years across business/information/solution/technical architecture, including 8+ years managing large enterprise architecture transformation programs; bachelor’s/master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Preferred Credentials & Consulting Skills – TOGAF, FEAF, DOD, or Zachman certification preferred, along with strong consulting, EA strategy, technology strategy, and business/enterprise architecture development experience.
