L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering seeks a Plan Engineer to supervise lifting and hoisting operations at project sites in Abu Dhabi. You will prepare lifting plans, method statements and lift studies, perform crane selection and load distribution calculations, and verify all certifications in accordance with BS 7121, LOLER and local regulations.

You will coordinate with site construction, EHS and subcontractor teams to ensure safe execution, provide technical guidance to operators and riggers, and

To plan engineer supervise and ensure the safe execution of all lifting and hoisting operations at project sites in compliance with project specifications local regulations and international lifting standards

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review lifting plans method statements risk assessments and lift studies for routine and critical lifting operations Conduct engineering calculations for crane selection load distribution lifting capacity ground bearing pressure and rigging requirements Verify lifting equipment certifications inspection records and compliance with applicable standards Coordinate with site construction EHS logistics and subcontractor teams to ensure safe execution of lifting activities Supervise critical lifting operations and provide technical guidance to crane operators riggers and lifting supervisors Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements OSHA standards BS 7121 LOLER and local authority regulations
