Job summary

The role requires preparing lifting plans, reviewing method statements, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance with international lifting standards and local regulations. Strong coordination with construction, EHS, and subcontractors is essential for successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Prepare and review lifting plans, method statements, risk assessments, and lift studies for routine and critical lifting operations.
• Conduct engineering calculations for crane selection, load distribution, lifting capacity, ground bearing pressure, and rigging requirements.
• Verify lifting equipment certifications, inspection records, and compliance with applicable standards.
• Coordinate with site construction, EHS, logistics, and subcontractor teams to ensure safe execution of lifting activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise critical lifting operations and provide guidance to crane operators, riggers, and lifting supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements, OSHA standards, BS 7121, LOLER, and local regulations.
