• Perform engineering calculations for crane selection, load distribution and rigging requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review lifting plans, method statements, risk assessments, and lift studies for routine and critical lifting operations.
• Conduct engineering calculations for crane selection, load distribution, lifting capacity, ground bearing pressure, and rigging requirements.
• Verify lifting equipment certifications, inspection records, and compliance with applicable standards.
• Coordinate with site construction, EHS, logistics, and subcontractor teams to ensure safe execution of lifting activities.
• Supervise critical lifting operations and provide technical guidance to crane operators, riggers, and lifting supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements, OSHA standards, BS 7121, LOLER, and local authority regulations.
