Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY seeks a senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design analysis, specification and optimization of rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors, pumps and seals. You will validate integrity and efficiency through stress, vibration and thermodynamic analyses and oversee procurement, vendor inspection and site commissioning.

Job description

Lead the design analysis and specification of rotating equipment such as turbines compressors pumps and mechanical seals ensuring optimal performance and reliability Develop and review complex engineering calculations including stress analysis vibration analysis and thermodynamic performance to validate equipment integrity and efficiency Manage the technical aspects of procurement vendor selection and inspection of critical rotating machinery ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards Oversee the installation commissioning and start-up of rotating equipment troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions to meet project timelines and performance targets Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field from a reputable institution.Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience specifically in the design, analysis, and troubleshooting of mechanical rotating equipment.Proven expertise in the application of relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME, ISO) for rotating machinery.Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex operational issues for critical rotating equipment in plant environments.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience in construction (not design), Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore
• Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred
• Clean-shaven policy applicable
• Candidates must be immediate joiners
• Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible
