Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional Software QA/Testing experience with strong manual testing skills.
• Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and various testing types.
• Hands-on API testing with Postman and SQL/database testing (MySQL preferred).
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar, and Agile/Scrum, plus automation testing.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases, scenarios, and plans based on requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and system testing.
• Conduct API testing using Postman and database validation using SQL/MySQL.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Maintain QA documentation, report testing status, and collaborate with development teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and continuously improve QA processes and automation skills.

As a SQA Engineer, you will ensure software quality, reliability, and performance by testing applications, identifying defects, and validating new features. You will collaborate with developers and project teams to ensure applications meet business and technical requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong testing knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
